Kindness Book 1

I am writing about a new book I have co-created with my brother and a few friends.

It’s called the Kindness Book.

The Kindness Book was inspired by my late father Robert Acker Holt. It is dedicated to the small but profound acts of kindness he experienced during the holocaust, that stayed with him throughout his lifetime.

Dad loved books, loved story-telling and loved harebrained schemes.  So, I think he’d be approving, and humbled as we are to see how well loved the book is: used by c. 55000 children across the world in 15 countries.

We are planning an inaugural event in November 2019 in the House of Commons – kindly hosted by Robert Halfon MP –  to demonstrate to politicians and key decision makers how kindness transcends all barriers.

The event will showcase the meaningful impact of kindness being sent to us from schools all over the world. From Australia to Argentina; from Uganda to the United Kingdom. If our mission is successful then our hope is that kindness becomes embedded as a subject in all schools. We have been asked by many for an equivalent book for adults – which is in our roll-out plan!
If you are interested in helping  the campaign (we’ve just kicked off and we’re already 50% there)you can buy a kindness book for yourself which then means one is donated to a school around the world. Please see below for more details.
