A huge honour to interview Philip Glass. A towering influence while studying music, Glass delivered truly insightful thoughts about technique and practice.

Filming this conversation with the legendary composer Philip Glass at the Melkweg in Amsterdam was a rare chance to capture both the intimacy and scale of his influence. Set within the vibrant context of Amsterdam Dance Event in collaboration with Ableton, the interview offered a dialogue between classical tradition and contemporary electronic culture. Our approach focused on clean, cinematic visuals and stills that reflected the depth of Glass’s ideas while situating them in one of Amsterdam’s most iconic venues.
