A mezuzah is as powerful as a roll of aluminum foil when it reminds us of just how Jewish we are.

For the project the Oy Vey project Het Joods Manifest (The Jewish Manifesto), we spoke with nine Jewish people in the Netherlands about what it’s like to be Jewish here. They told us about their experiences with anti-Semitism, their joys and their struggles. Most brought objects that were important to them and shared why.
